Tank Duel is a fast top-down tank battle in small maze arenas. Every shell bounces off the walls, so you can bank shots around corners, but a careless ricochet can hit your own tank too. Play against the computer on Easy or Hard, or challenge a friend on one keyboard or on one phone with two touch pads. Each round brings a new maze, and the first tank commander to win five rounds takes the match.
How to play
- Choose vs CPU (Easy), vs CPU (Hard) or 2 Players.
- Drive your tank through the maze.
- Fire shells that bounce off the walls.
- Hit the other tank to win the round, and dodge every shell, including your own.
- A new maze appears every round.
- The first player to win 5 rounds wins the match.
Controls
- Computer
- Player 1: W and S to drive, A and D to turn, F to fire. Player 2: arrow keys to drive and turn, Enter to fire. Against the CPU you can also use the arrows and Space.
- Phone and tablet
- Drag the joystick pad to drive in any direction and tap Fire to shoot. In 2 Players mode on a phone, each player has their own pad and Fire button at their end of the screen.
Tips
- Aim at a wall to bank a shot around a corner.
- Do not fire straight into a nearby wall: the shell can bounce back at you.
- Each tank can only have five shells out at once, so make them count.
Questions
- Can two people play on one device?
- Yes. On a computer, Player 1 uses WASD and F while Player 2 uses the arrow keys and Enter. On a phone, each player gets a touch pad at their end of the screen.
- Can my own shell hit me?
- Yes. Shells bounce off walls and can hit any tank, including the one that fired them.
