Drift King is a top-down drifting game where style is everything. Hold the drift button to break traction and slide through the bends of five twisty tracks, from a sunny meadow ring to snowy esses and a neon night circuit. The longer and wider your drift, the bigger the combo multiplier. Skim past cones for near-miss bonuses, stay on the asphalt, and chase the ghost of your own best lap over three laps.
How to play
- Pick one of five tracks on the title screen.
- Your car accelerates by itself: steer left and right.
- Hold Drift while steering to slide sideways through corners.
- Keep drifting to raise the combo multiplier up to x5.
- Pass close to cones for near-miss points, but do not hit them.
- Finish three laps and beat your best lap ghost.
Controls
- Computer
- Left and Right arrows or A and D to steer, hold Space or Shift to drift, Down arrow or S to brake. Esc or P pauses.
- Phone and tablet
- Use the two arrow buttons at the bottom left to steer and hold the Drift button at the bottom right.
Tips
- Start the drift just before the corner and steer gently to hold the angle.
- Going off the road or hitting a cone ends your combo, so bank points on the straights.
- The snowy track has less grip: begin drifts earlier.

- What is the ghost car?
- It replays your best lap on the selected track, so you can see where you gain or lose time.
- How is the score counted?
- You earn points while drifting at speed, multiplied by your combo, plus bonuses for near misses with cones.
