Bike Trials

Bike Trials is a side-view physics motorbike game with 25 hand-tuned obstacle courses. Control the throttle and brake and shift your weight forward or back to keep the bike balanced as you climb steps, roll over logs, tip seesaws, clear water jumps and ride full loops. If the rider's head touches the ground you crash and restart from the last checkpoint while the clock keeps running. Reach the finish quickly to earn up to three stars, and try a flip on the big jumps.

How to play

  1. Hold gas to drive and brake to slow down or roll back.
  2. Lean back to lift the front wheel and lean forward to push it down.
  3. Keep the bike balanced in the air so you land on both wheels.
  4. Pass checkpoint flags; after a crash you restart from the last one.
  5. Cross the finish line under the target time for three stars.

Controls

Computer
Up arrow or W for gas, Down arrow or S to brake, Left and Right arrows or A and D to lean back and forward. R restarts from the last checkpoint. Esc pauses.
Phone and tablet
Use the two rotate buttons on the left to lean back and forward, and the brake and gas buttons on the right.

Tips

  • Go into loops with plenty of speed and keep the gas on.
  • Lean back slightly before big jumps so the nose does not dive.
  • On steep climbs, lean forward to stop the bike flipping over backwards.

Questions

What happens when I crash?
You restart at the last checkpoint flag you passed. The timer keeps running, so crashes cost you stars.
How do I do a flip?
Launch off a ramp and hold a lean button in the air until the bike turns all the way round, then straighten out to land on both wheels.
