Kart Dash is a colourful arcade kart racer with a classic behind-the-kart 3D road view. Line up against five rivals, hit glowing boost pads and grab item boxes to get a Slick to drop behind you, a Shield to block trouble or a Boost to shoot ahead. Each cup has three races of three laps on its own themed roads, from sunny hills to sand dunes, frosty passes and a volcano valley. Score points in every race and finish on top of the cup standings.
How to play
- Pick a cup on the title screen: Sunny, Dune, Frost or Volcano.
- Your kart accelerates by itself: steer to stay on the road.
- Drive over blue boost pads for a burst of speed.
- Hit item boxes and use your item: Slick, Shield or Boost.
- Finish three laps in each race to score points.
- Win the cup with the most points after three races.
Controls
- Computer
- Left and Right arrows or A and D to steer, Space, X or Enter to use your item, Down arrow or S to brake. Esc or P pauses.
- Phone and tablet
- Tap the arrow buttons at the bottom left to steer and the Item button at the bottom right to use your item.
Tips
- Stay off the grass: it slows your kart down a lot.
- Save a Shield for when a rival is right behind you with a Slick.
- Use Boost on long straights, not right before a sharp curve.
Questions
- How are cup points awarded?
- Each race gives 10, 7, 5, 3, 2 and 1 points from first to sixth place. The kart with the most points after three races wins the cup.
- What does the Slick item do?
- It drops a slippery puddle behind you. Any kart that drives over it spins out and slows down, unless it has a Shield.
