How to Win at Hex Fit: Hexagon Block Puzzle Tips
Hex Fit is a block puzzle on a honeycomb board. You place three hexagon pieces at a time, and any line filled in one of three directions clears. There is no timer: the game ends only when nothing in your tray fits. Smart placement keeps the board open and the combos coming.

Keep the centre open
Lines through the middle of the board are the longest and the hardest to fill. If you clog the centre, those lines take ages to clear and the space disappears. Build around the edges first, where lines are shorter and clear quickly, and keep the centre as your reserve for awkward pieces.
Use all three directions
Every cell sits on three lines, one in each direction. That means a single piece can complete lines in several directions at once. Before placing a piece, check each of the three lines it touches. Clearing two or three lines with one piece is worth far more points and opens up much more space.
Keep your combo going
Each clear in a row raises your combo, which adds bonus points to every clear. In Hex Fit any placement that does not clear a line resets the combo straight away. So when a combo is running, look for a piece that completes a line every turn, and set up several nearly full lines in advance.
Plan the whole tray
Pieces cannot be rotated, so look at all three before you place one. Put the largest or most awkward piece first while there is the most space. Save single hexes for the gaps that nothing else can fill, and avoid leaving lone empty cells surrounded by blocks.
Challenge your friends
Piece order is random, but a shared challenge link uses the same seed, so friends get exactly the same pieces in the same order. That makes it a fair test of strategy. Play the challenge carefully, since the first few placements shape the whole board.
Keyboard players can pick pieces with 1, 2 or 3, move them with the arrow keys and press Enter to place. On touch screens the piece floats above your finger, so you can see exactly where it will land before you let go. Take your time: there is no clock.
