How to Win at Cricket Blast: Batting Tips & Strategy
Cricket Blast gives you 18 balls and three wickets to reach a target, and each level raises the target and the difficulty. Winning is about scoring fast without throwing your wickets away. These tips cover timing, shot placement and how to deal with every type of delivery the bowler sends down.

Wait for the ball
Most wickets come from swinging too early. Watch the ball bounce down the pitch and tap only as it reaches the bat. Perfect timing sends it over the rope for six, good timing through a gap brings four, and early or late timing leads to edges, catches or a ball that hits the stumps.
Read the delivery
When the ball is released, a label tells you what is coming: a fast ball, a slower ball, spin or a yorker. Slower balls and spin arrive later than you expect, so hold your nerve. Yorkers are aimed at your feet and stumps, so they need sharp timing rather than a big swing at the last moment.
Hit into the gaps
Tap left, middle or right to choose where the ball goes. Use the field map to see where the fielders stand, then aim between them. A big hit straight at a deep fielder can be caught on the boundary, while a well-timed shot into an empty area runs away for four. Change direction often so you never become predictable.
Manage the chase
Keep an eye on the runs needed and balls left. If you need about a run a ball, singles and twos into gaps are enough, so there is no need to risk a wicket. If the required rate climbs, look for perfect timing on the balls you read best and go for boundaries then. Losing three wickets ends the innings, so protect them early and attack late.
Leave the dangerous ones
A ball that is not heading for your stumps is safe to leave if you are unsure about it. A dot ball costs one delivery, but a wicket costs a third of your innings. As levels go up and the bowling gets quicker and trickier, a few careful leaves are part of every successful chase.
On a keyboard, aim with the Left and Right arrow keys and swing with Space or Up, or move the mouse to aim and click. Choosing your direction before the ball arrives leaves you free to focus purely on timing the swing.
