Cricket Blast is a fast batting game under the floodlights. The bowler charges in, the ball bounces down the pitch and you have a split second to swing. Tap on the side you want to hit, find the gaps between the fielders and send the ball to the rope for four or over it for six. Each level sets a bigger target from 18 balls with only 3 wickets, while faster deliveries, slower balls, spin and yorkers try to hit your stumps.
How to play
- Watch the bowler run in and follow the ball as it bounces toward you.
- Tap left, middle or right just as the ball reaches the bat to hit it in that direction.
- Perfect timing sends the ball over the rope for six; good timing through a gap scores four.
- Use the field map to aim between the fielders and avoid being caught.
- Reach the target within 18 balls before losing 3 wickets to move up a level.
Controls
- Computer
- Move the mouse to aim and click to swing, or use the Left and Right arrow keys to aim and Space or Up to swing. Esc or P pauses.
- Phone and tablet
- Tap on the left, middle or right of the screen at the moment the ball arrives. Where you tap is where you hit.
Tips
- Wait for the ball: most outs come from swinging too early.
- Slower balls and spin arrive later than you expect, so watch the label when the ball is released.
- A ball that is not heading for the stumps is safe to leave if you are unsure.
Questions
- How do I hit a six?
- Swing with perfect timing, right as the ball reaches the bat. Aim away from deep fielders, because a big hit straight at one can be caught on the boundary.
- What happens when I reach the target?
- You move to the next level with a fresh set of 3 wickets and 18 balls, but the target is higher and the bowling gets quicker and trickier.
