Skate Flow is a sunset street skating runner. Your skater rolls forward on their own, so it is up to you to ollie over cones and barriers, pop onto rails and ledges to grind, and flip the board while you are in the air. Every trick, grind and big air in a line adds to your combo, and the whole lot is multiplied when you land clean. Land in the middle of a flip or crash into an obstacle and you bail. Three bails and the session is over.
How to play
- Tap to ollie and hold to jump higher.
- While in the air, tap for a kickflip, or swipe left, right or down for a heelflip, a 360 flip or a shove-it.
- Land on a rail or ledge from above to grind it, then ollie off to keep the combo going.
- Finish your trick before you touch down. Landing mid-flip is a bail.
- Land on the ground to cash in your combo. More tricks in one line means a bigger multiplier.
Controls
- Computer
- Space or Up to ollie (hold for height) and kickflip in the air. Left for heelflip, Right for 360 flip, Down for shove-it. Esc or P pauses.
- Phone and tablet
- Tap to ollie and hold for height. In the air, tap for a kickflip or swipe left, right or down for other flips.
Tips
- Kickers launch you much higher, which gives you time for two or three flips.
- A 360 flip scores the most points but takes the longest, so only start it with plenty of air.
- Grinds join tricks together. Ollie off the end of a rail and flip to stretch your combo.
Questions
- Why did I bail when I landed?
- Your flip had not finished yet. Start tricks earlier in the jump or pick a quicker trick such as a shove-it.
- How is my score counted?
- Distance gives a steady trickle of points. Combos give the big points: the sum of every trick, grind and air in a line, multiplied by the number of moves when you land clean.
