Dots & Boxes is the classic pencil-and-paper strategy game, rebuilt for any screen. Take turns drawing a line between two neighbouring dots. Complete the fourth side of a box and it is yours: you score a point and must move again. Early on it is all about not giving anything away; late in the game whole chains of boxes are handed over, and a well-timed double-cross can swing the result. Play on a 4×4, 6×6 or 8×8 grid against an easy, medium or hard computer, with a friend on the same device, or online.

- A yellow “!” on the preview warns you that the line gives your opponent a box.
- Count the long chains: in the endgame, the player who is forced to open the first long chain usually loses.
- Taking every box is not always best: declining the last two boxes of a chain (a double-cross) can force your opponent to open the next chain for you.
Pertanyaan
- Do I get another turn after closing a box?
- Yes. Every time your line completes one or two boxes you score them and must draw another line.
- How hard is the Hard computer?
- It avoids giving away boxes, counts chains and loops in the endgame and uses double-crosses to keep control, so you need to plan the chain battle to beat it.
