Tycoon City is a property-trading board game set around the world for 2 to 4 players. Roll two dice and travel around a ring of 36 squares, buying landmarks in Lisbon, Rio, Cape Town, Istanbul, Kyoto, Sydney, Paris and New York. Collect rent from rivals, complete a whole city to double its rent and build houses and hotels, auction what nobody buys, mortgage when cash is short and strike deals with other players. Last tycoon standing wins, or the richest one when the time limit ends. Play against the computer, on one device with friends, or online.

- Rail lines are a steady income early on: four of them charge 200 a visit.
- Trade to complete a city as soon as you can, then build three houses on it: that is where rent jumps the most.
- Keep some cash in hand when rivals own hotels, and mortgage loose properties before you sell buildings.
Questions
- How does the time limit work?
- With a 10 or 20 minute limit the game ends when the clock runs out and the player with the highest worth (cash, properties and buildings) wins. With no limit you play until only one tycoon is left.
- How do I get out of customs?
- Pay 50 before rolling, use a customs pass card, or try to roll doubles. After three failed tries you pay 50 and move.
- Can I trade with the computer?
- Yes. On your turn press Trade (or tap a rival’s panel), pick properties and cash on both sides and propose. The computer accepts deals that are good for it, and it may also offer deals to you.
