Mine Field is a classic logic puzzle. Uncover tiles one by one; each number tells you how many mines touch that tile. Use the clues to work out where the mines are, flag them and clear every safe tile without setting one off.
How to play
- Choose Easy, Medium or Hard.
- Uncover a tile to start.
- Each number shows how many mines touch that tile, including diagonally.
- Flag tiles you think hide mines.
- Uncover every safe tile to win; hit a mine and it is over.
Controls
- Computer
- Left-click to dig and right-click to flag. Or move with the arrow keys, press Enter or Space to dig, and F to flag.
- Phone and tablet
- Tap to dig and long-press to flag, or switch between Dig and Flag mode.
Tips
- Start by finding 1s next to a single covered tile: that tile is a mine.
- Flag mines to keep track of what you know.
- If a number already has all its mines flagged, its other neighbours are safe.
