Laser Bounce

📖 Read the strategy guide ›

Laser Bounce is a glowing light puzzle. A laser fires across a grid, and you have to guide it into every crystal. Tap mirrors to flip them, drag spare mirrors onto empty squares, and use glass beam splitters to send the light two ways at once. Walls block the beam and decoy mirrors try to lead you astray. Levels are generated from a working solution, so every one can be solved, and they grow from a single bounce to big boards with four crystals.

How to play

  1. Pick a level and press Play.
  2. Tap a mirror to turn it between its two angles.
  3. Drag spare mirrors from the tray onto empty squares; drag them off again to take them back.
  4. Beam splitters let the laser pass straight through and reflect at the same time.
  5. Light up every crystal to clear the level.

Controls

Computer
Click mirrors to turn them and drag spare mirrors onto the grid. Keyboard: arrows move the cursor, Space turns a mirror or places a spare, Tab switches spare type, X removes a spare, Z undoes, H hints, R restarts.
Phone and tablet
Tap mirrors to turn them, drag spare mirrors onto the grid, and drag a placed spare to move it. Undo, Hint and Restart are below the board.

Tips

  • Work backwards from each crystal: which squares could send light into it?
  • A splitter is usually needed when there are more crystals than lasers.
  • Not every mirror is needed. Some are decoys.

Questions

Can every level be solved?
Yes. Each level starts from a complete solution before the mirrors are scrambled.
What do the hints do?
A hint fixes one mirror from the solution. It costs 30 points from the level score.
