Carrom is the much-loved table game of flicks and pockets, here on a warm wooden board with real physics. Slide your striker along your baseline, pull back to aim and set the power, then release to send it gliding into the coins. Pocket your own colour to keep shooting, cover the red queen with one of your coins and clear all nine to win. Every bounce off the cushions and every cut into the corners is simulated, so angles and power matter. Play the computer on three levels, pass the device to a friend or challenge someone online.

- Thin cuts need less power than you think: a soft shot that just reaches the pocket is safer than a hard one that bounces back out.
- Watch the ghost circle: the short coloured line from the target coin shows the direction it will travel.
- Don’t leave your rival easy coins near the pockets when you can’t score yourself, and keep the queen for when you have a coin ready to cover it.
Domande
- What happens if I pocket my opponent’s coin?
- It counts for your opponent and your turn ends, unless you also pocketed one of your own coins in the same shot.
- Can I pocket the queen at any time?
- Yes, but you must cover it by pocketing one of your coins in the same shot or the next one, and you can’t sink your last coin before the queen is covered.
