Snow Slalom

📖 Read the strategy guide ›

Snow Slalom is an endless downhill ski race against the clock. Carve left and right to pass between every pair of flags while your speed builds on the slope. Each gate you hit in a row raises your multiplier, but a missed gate costs three seconds and a tree sends you tumbling into the snow. Hit the ramps for big air, reach the checkpoint banners for extra time and see how far down the mountain you can get.

How to play

  1. Your skier heads downhill on their own and picks up speed.
  2. Steer left and right to pass between each pair of flags.
  3. Missing a gate takes 3 seconds off the clock, and hitting a tree or rock slows you down.
  4. Pass under a checkpoint banner to add time.
  5. Keep going until the clock reaches zero. Distance, gates and jumps all add to your score.

Controls

Computer
Left and Right arrow keys or A and D to carve. Esc or P pauses.
Phone and tablet
Press and hold to the left or right of the skier to carve that way. The further from the skier you press, the sharper the turn.

Tips

  • Start your turn early. Sharp carves slow you down more than smooth lines.
  • Chain gates for a score multiplier of up to five times.
  • Ramps launch you over trees, so use them to take a straighter line.

Questions

How do I get more time?
Ski under the checkpoint banners. Each one adds time, but the bonus shrinks as you go deeper down the mountain.
Does the game end if I hit a tree?
No. You fall, lose speed and a little time, then keep skiing. The run only ends when the clock reaches zero.
