Slam Court 3D is street basketball on an outdoor city court at sunset, with string lights overhead, a glowing backboard and a chain net that rattles on every swish. The ball follows real physics, so shots bounce off the rim and backboard, roll around the cup and drop through the net. Race the clock in a 60-second Shootout with money balls and fire mode, take on a rival in a shot-for-shot Match-Up, or show off in the Dunk Contest, where timing and style earn the judges' scores.
How to play
- Pick a mode: Shootout, Match-Up or Dunk Contest, then press Play.
- Swipe or drag upwards to shoot: the direction aims the shot and the length of the swipe sets the power.
- In Shootout, empty five racks in 60 seconds. The last ball on each rack is a money ball worth 2 points.
- Hit three swishes in a row to catch fire and double your points until you miss.
- In Match-Up, make your shot to set a challenge and match the rival's shots. Three misses and you lose.
- In the Dunk Contest, tap to jump at the right moment, swipe for a trick, then tap as the ring closes to slam.
Controls
- Computer
- Drag the mouse upwards and release to shoot. With the keyboard, hold Space to build power and release to shoot, and use the Left and Right arrows to aim. In the Dunk Contest, press Space to jump and slam and use the arrow keys for tricks. Esc or P pauses.
- Phone and tablet
- Swipe up anywhere on the screen to shoot: aim with the swipe direction and set the power with its length. In the Dunk Contest, tap to jump, swipe for a trick and tap again to slam.
Tips
- Farther spots need a longer swipe. The green line on the power bar shows the perfect power for your last shot.
- Swishes build your fire meter, and fire mode doubles every basket, money balls included.
- In the Dunk Contest, do the trick the judges ask for to earn bonus points.
Questions
- What is a money ball?
- The last ball on each Shootout rack is a pink and white money ball. It is worth 2 points instead of 1, and 4 points if you are on fire.
- Does the game run on phones?
- Yes. Slam Court 3D adjusts its graphics quality automatically, lowering shadows and resolution on slower phones so the game stays smooth.
