Word Duel is a fast word-guessing puzzle. A secret word is hidden behind the tiles and you have six tries to find it. After every guess, each letter becomes a square when it is in the right spot, a circle when it is in the word but somewhere else, or a dark tile when it is not in the word at all. Play the daily word, practise freely, or race: duel the computer or a friend online on the same word, where fewer tries wins and speed breaks ties. Words come in English, French and Arabic.

- Start with a word that uses common, different letters to discover as much as possible.
- Never reuse a letter shown on a dark tile, and move circle letters to a new spot.
- In a duel, if your rival solved it in 4 tries you must solve it in 3 to win, so take a bold guess.
Вопросы
- How does the duel decide who wins a word?
- The player who solves the word in fewer tries wins it. If both use the same number of tries, the one who solved it faster wins. If nobody solves it, nobody scores.
- Which languages can I play in?
- English and French (5-letter words) and Arabic (4-letter words, written right to left). For Arabic, hamza forms are typed as their base letter: أ إ آ as ا, ؤ as و and ئ or ى as ي.
- Is the daily word the same for everyone?
- Yes, each language has one daily word that changes at midnight, and your streak counts the days in a row you solved it.
