Reversi is a simple-to-learn, hard-to-master strategy game. Place a disc to trap your rival's discs in a straight line between two of yours, and they flip to your colour. When neither player can move, whoever has the most discs wins.
How to play
- Choose vs AI or 2 players, and a difficulty level.
- Dark moves first.
- Place a disc so that one or more lines of rival discs are trapped between it and another of your discs.
- All trapped discs flip to your colour.
- If you have no legal move, you pass. When neither player can move, most discs wins.
Controls
- Computer
- Click a square to place a disc. Arrow keys and Enter also work, and there is an Undo button.
- Phone and tablet
- Tap a square to place your disc.
Tips
- Corners can never be flipped, so grab them when you can.
- Avoid the squares right next to empty corners.
- Having more moves available matters more than having more discs early on.
