Dot Link is a relaxing line-drawing puzzle. Each board has pairs of coloured dots, and your job is to join every pair with a path. Lines cannot cross or overlap, and the board is only solved when every single square is covered. Boards are generated fresh each time and always have a full solution, from small 5x5 warm-ups to tricky 9x9 boards with a dozen colours. Draw each line in one clean stroke for a bigger score.
How to play
- Pick a difficulty and press Play.
- Drag from a dot to start a line of that colour.
- Draw through empty squares until you reach the matching dot.
- Lines cannot cross. Drawing over another line cuts it back.
- Connect every pair and fill every square to win.
Controls
- Computer
- Drag with the mouse to draw lines. Or use the arrow keys to move the cursor, Space to pick up a dot or line, arrows to draw, Space to let go. Z undoes, H hints, R resets.
- Phone and tablet
- Drag your finger from a dot to its partner. Use Undo, Hint and Reset below the board.
Tips
- Dots on the edges and in corners usually have only one sensible route; draw them first.
- If a pair is close together, the line between them often needs to take the long way to fill space.
- An empty pocket that no colour can reach means a line has to be rerouted.
Questions
- Is every Dot Link board solvable?
- Yes. Each board is built from a path that covers the whole grid, so a full solution always exists.
- Do I have to fill every square?
- Yes. Connecting all pairs is not enough; the board is solved only when no empty squares remain.
