City Shield is a fast arcade defence game. Meteors rain down on six glowing cities and you are the last line of defence. Tap the sky to launch an interceptor that bursts into a glowing shock wave, and catch several meteors in one blast to set off chain reactions. Every wave is faster, splitting meteors appear, and ammo is limited, so aim well. Shoot falling crates for power-ups and enjoy golden bonus waves.
How to play
- Meteors fall from the sky towards your six cities.
- Tap or click where you want an interceptor to explode.
- Meteors caught in the blast are destroyed and can trigger chain reactions.
- Each wave gives limited ammo; leftover ammo and surviving cities earn bonus points.
- Shoot parachute crates for extra ammo, shields, mega blasts or a rebuilt city.
- The game ends when all six cities are destroyed.
Controls
- Computer
- Click the sky to fire, or move the crosshair with the arrow keys or WASD and press Space. Press P or Esc to pause.
- Phone and tablet
- Tap anywhere in the sky to launch an interceptor to that spot.
Tips
- Aim a little ahead of a meteor, because your interceptor needs time to fly.
- Wait for meteors to bunch up, then catch them with one blast for a big combo.
- Shoot splitting meteors early, before they break into three.
Questions
- What do the parachute crates do?

- Every fourth wave is filled with harmless golden comets worth 100 points each, and a lost city is rebuilt at the end.
