Candy Swing Tips: Get All 3 Stars
Candy Swing is a physics puzzle where timing matters as much as the plan. Every level has a few ropes, three golden stars and a hungry fluffball waiting in a teacup. Feeding it clears the level, and collecting the stars on the way raises your score. These tips will help you solve the 30 levels and pick up every star.

Watch before you cut
Before touching anything, let the candy swing for a moment and watch its path. Note where the stars are, where the mouth is and which ropes hold the candy from which side. Most levels have a natural order, and seeing one full swing usually reveals it. Rushing the first cut is the most common reason for a failed attempt. Check which star is hardest to reach and plan the cuts around it.
Time each cut
Cutting the last rope at the top of a swing, where the candy briefly slows, drops it almost straight down. Cutting near the bottom, where it moves fastest, flings it sideways in the direction it is moving. Use this to aim: if the candy needs to fly toward a star or the mouth, cut while it is moving toward that side.
Use bubbles, cushions and hooks
A bubble lifts the candy upward until you tap the candy to pop it, so wait until it rises under a star or above the mouth. Air cushions puff the candy sideways when tapped, which is handy for small corrections in mid-air. Hooks catch the candy only when it passes inside their dashed circle, so swing it through that area to attach a new rope.
Avoid the thorns
Thorns pop the candy on contact. If a path brushes past them, cut a little earlier or later to change the arc. Sometimes the safest route is to wait for an extra swing before cutting, so the candy passes at a different height. Watch the arc once without cutting to see exactly how close it passes.
Restart freely
Levels are short, so a quick restart is often faster than hoping a bad swing works out. Press R on a keyboard to restart. Stars are optional for moving on, so clear a tricky level first, then come back later to collect the remaining stars once you understand it. Many levels can be solved in more than one way, so experiment.
Questions
- Can I skip a level?
- No. Levels unlock in order, but you only need to feed the monster to unlock the next one. Stars are not required.
- Are there keyboard controls?
- Yes. Keys 1 to 9 cut ropes, Space pops a bubble, Enter puffs air cushions and R restarts the level.
- Can I replay levels for stars?
- Yes. Cleared levels stay open, so you can go back at any time to collect stars you missed.
