How to Win at Beach Spike: Volleyball Tips & Strategy
In Beach Spike your player runs to the ball automatically, so every point is decided by two things: when you tap and where you aim. Perfect timing gives faster, sharper touches, and a well-aimed spike is the quickest way to win a rally. These tips will help you beat all three difficulty levels.

Master the ring
Watch the ring around the ball, not the ball itself. A tap right as the ring closes gives a perfect touch, a little early or late gives a good or OK one, and a big miss loses the point. Perfect bumps and sets lead to stronger spikes, so the whole rally improves when your timing does. Keep your eyes on the ring through every touch, not just your spike.
Aim your spikes into space
Before you spike, tap the opponents' court where you want the ball to land. The best target is the gap between the two defenders or a deep corner far from both. A strong spike straight at a defender is much easier to dig than a softer one into open sand. On a keyboard, steer your aim with the Left and Right arrow keys.
Serve with a plan
To serve, tap to toss the ball and tap again at the top. A clean serve aimed at a corner or between the two players puts the other side under pressure straight away, and can even win an ace. Avoid aiming right at the lines until your timing is reliable, because an out serve hands over a free point.
Let bad balls go
A ball heading out of the court can be left alone, and the point is yours. Do not tap at everything by reflex. Watch the flight of the ball for a moment, and if it is clearly sailing long or wide, simply let it drop. This is one of the easiest ways to win extra points against stronger opponents.
Beat the harder levels
On Hard, the computer digs most average spikes. Go for perfect touches on every contact, because they make your spikes faster and harder to return, and keep aiming at open space. Matches go to 11 or 15 points with a two-point lead needed, so stay calm when the score is close and avoid gambling at match point.
Questions
