How to Win at Fruit Slice: Swipe Game Tips & Tricks
Fruit Slice is all about fast but careful swipes. You lose one of three lives each time a fruit falls unsliced, and hitting a bomb ends the game at once. The best scores come from long, clean swipes that cut several fruits at once while keeping your blade well away from the bombs.

Slice several at once
Cut three or more fruits in one swipe and you earn a combo bonus equal to the number of fruits sliced. Instead of slicing every fruit the moment it appears, wait a split second for fruits to bunch together near the top of their flight, where they move slowest, then cut them all with one long stroke.
Know your fruit
Dates and pomegranates are worth two points each, while oranges, figs and melons are worth one. When fruits are spread out, go for the two-point ones first. Big melons are easy to hit, so they are good for finishing a combo stroke without much risk.
Combos and fruit points are small, so your score grows mainly by surviving long enough to slice a lot of fruit. A cautious game that keeps all three lives and avoids every bomb will usually beat a flashy one that ends early. Think safety first, combos second. Patience is the real secret.
Respect the bombs
Bombs start appearing after the first couple of waves and become more frequent later. Any contact with a bomb ends the game, whatever your lives. Keep your swipes short and precise when a bomb is on screen, and slice around it rather than through a crowd that includes it.
Do not let fruit fall
Each fruit that falls back down unsliced costs a life, and you only have three. Watch the edges of the screen, where fruit thrown at an angle can slip past unnoticed. If you must choose, catching a falling fruit is more important than lining up a combo.
Handle quick-fire waves
Later waves sometimes throw fruit one after another in quick succession. Rather than chasing each one with a separate swipe, sweep back and forth across their path in a steady rhythm. On a computer you can also use the arrow keys or WASD to move the blade.
