Bubble Wrap Tips: How to Score More in 30 Seconds
Bubble Wrap is relaxing in Relax mode, but Timed mode is a real score chase. You have 30 seconds, and points come from steady popping, golden bubbles, chain bubbles and full sheets. Most of the difference between an average score and a great one is rhythm. These tips show how the scoring works and how to use every second.

Keep the combo alive
In Timed mode each pop that follows the last one quickly keeps your combo going. Every 12 quick pops in a row raises the multiplier, up to four times the normal points. A short pause resets it. So steady, continuous popping is worth far more than fast bursts with gaps. On a computer, dragging across the sheet pops bubbles in a smooth line without breaks.
Catch golden bubbles first
Golden bubbles shine for a short time and are worth 10 points each instead of 1, before the multiplier. When one appears, go for it right away, then return to your path. Missing a golden bubble while popping ordinary ones nearby is the most common way to lose points. They appear at random spots, so keep your eyes on the whole sheet rather than only on your finger.
Save chain bubbles for crowds
Chain bubbles pop their neighbours in a wave. Their effect is biggest when they sit among many unpopped bubbles, so leave the area around a chain bubble untouched and pop the chain bubble itself while its neighbours are still full. Popping everything around it first wastes the wave.
Clear sheets for bonuses
Clearing a whole sheet in Timed mode adds 20 bonus points and brings a fresh sheet, which often has more chain bubbles. Work through the sheet in rows so you do not leave scattered bubbles behind. Hunting for the last few lonely bubbles takes time, so sweep systematically from the start. Leaving one or two bubbles behind means missing the bonus entirely.
Use Relax mode to practise
Relax mode has no clock and gives endless sheets, so it is a good place to practise smooth dragging and finding a comfortable rhythm. When you go back to Timed mode, aim for a pace you can hold for the full 30 seconds rather than a frantic start that fades. A calm, even pace also makes it easier to spot golden bubbles as they appear.
